Staff and Service Users within the Lifestyles Service were delighted to help out and do some catering for the island games. For the week of the island games we catered for some of the swim teams up for the games. This meant that everyone chipped into help with the making of the menu. Emma F said “ I liked putting together the sandwiches of the day and getting them packed up to go”.
The kitchen crew did a fantastic job. We also managed to put on our usual Friday café that week and had the final day of games on the TV for folk to watch when they came in.
What a week it was and everyone enjoyed getting out and seeing all the different sports on offer. With the weather being so hot we definitely had an ice cream or two that week.
