We are part of the Orkney Islands Council, Lifestyles Service which is provided across two bases. A purpose built facility which is part of the local Pickaquoy sports, arts and leisure complex and the neighbouring St. Colms Cafe and Crafts.
The Lifestyles Service strives to provide person-centred care tailored to the individual needs of adults with
Learning Disabilities who are over 18. The service supports individuals to achieve their outcomes and goals in health and wellbeing, leisure and recreation, life long learning, community inclusion and employability support.
Our support includes work experience, volunteering, learning new skills, training opportunities. At St Colms Cafe and Crafts we specialise in kitchen experience and catering, till work and IT, gardening and horticulture, crafts and woodwork.
The items you see on this website and in our cafe and shop have been created by our ‘Lifestyles family’.
Visit our Cafe
Our cafe is open on a Friday from 10am to 1pm. We serve hot and cold drinks, home bakes and at lunchtime hot food as well.
Arts and Crafts
At St Colms we produce a wide range of products, including garden furniture, ornamental items, firewood, cards and wedding stationary.
